Or even take over one of the existing switches.  I drove for several months
with a clip lead between the ignition switch & headlight switch; turning on
the tail lights would also turn on the ignition.

But eventually it became clear I was never going to find the lost key, so I
picked the lock to get it apart, and cut a key to match.
