The ring/pinion in mine is trashed, and I suspect it's easier to find a complete unit than just the gears. I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area, and would be more than happy to drive a few hours to pick up rather than have either side deal with packing and shipping a 50-60 pound lump. Thanks, chris
