[TR] Wedge question

Getting started on replacing the rear axle bearings on Evelyn's TR8. From what
I can decipher in the manual it looks like I just need to remove the four nuts
holding the retaining plated on to the backing plates and pull the axles. They
aren't jumping out in my hand. Is that all there is to it or do I need to get
into the diff? Not used to working on these new fangled solid axle Triumphs:)
