My 91 Nissan PU had 233k miles when I overhauled the engine and it had 
Frams in it every 3k miles.. Not because it had a problem, but I needed 
a project for my tech school.

When I tore everything down it was clean inside and the machine shop 
said the crank was still standard and all they did was polish it.Bearing 
looked good too,but of course I replaced them.

Just my experience with Fram.
