Darrell,
It is definitely not recommended to shake up DOT 5. While the bubbles will
rise to the top and dissipate if left to settle, if you drive it right away,
you will force them into the lines and that is not a good thing.

But a related subject on silicone type brake fluif that comes to mind for

is that I am in the habit of shaking that bottle of fluif just to get it
mixed up good. I can't help myself, just seems like a natural thing to do

soon as the bottle reaches my hand. Then when I pour that fluif , I see
these
tiny little bubbles all over within the fluif, is that a bad thing?
