 True but you get it back when you go back west.? Also, it seems that every spring I get deprived of one hour of sleep and I remain that way until fall.? I guess that's because Christmas is coming and Santa won't come if I'm awake.

Speaking of adding time, don't forget that when you go from the west 
coast to the east it takes three hours longer than you might 
calculate.  I guess it must be the prevailing winds or something 
because it takes so much less time going the other way.
