   Yeah, that would stink.  Not that it hasn't happened to me before:  I once owned a wooden kayak (from Craigslist) that turned out to be hot.  I found out when I stumbled upon a description of my boat on a list of stolen boats at a local shop.  Dang.
   I tracked down the guy who had built it (in Alaska) and gave it back, and he gave me a little money for my sacrifice, but it's just hard to come out ahead in that situation.  Nice guy though... invited me to come up there some summer and build my own.  =)
