I used that write up along with a suggestion from  one of the guys in the
6-Pack Forum to use Velcro to line the channels. I did it a few years ago
and it works great. Since then a bunch of 6-Pack guys have used the same
technique with excellent results. It's a whole lot cheaper than buying new
channels. I wrote it all up with pictures here:
