[TR] TR3 Tick Tick Tick

This IS in top gear, right ? If it only happens in one gear, OTHER THAN
4th, it might be the transmission. A missing tooth in a gear will cause a
tick-tick-tick sound, but only when that gear is driving.

As long as your ticking is in 4th gear, it's not a gear in the transmission
making the noise, but it could still be a main transmission bearing (though
that would be unlikely to just cause a tick-tick-tick). In top gear the
gears in the transmission are just idling - the mainshaft is locked and the
transmission is driving directly from input shaft to mainshaft.
