I've been reading in a book on "Cooling 'System Basics" about the advantages
of a 'Balanced' thermostat in auto system cooling. This especially applies to
the ability of the thermostat to open easily when there is a sudden changes in
RPMs.

This was developed by RobertShaw and is used in many American hot rods, etc.

The conventional thermostat is a Reverse Poppet Thermostat and will
open-closed quickly when the engine starts hard acceleration. This is not
good if you have upgraded your engine.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a 'Balanced Sleeve Thermostat' that will
work in our Triumphs?
