Andrew,

If it was outrageous, it was probably accurate!  I had my front bumper,
overriders, taillights and a few other little things from my 4A rechromed a
couple of years ago and I thought I'd have to take out a second mortgage!  I
don't remember the exact cost but it was north of $1,000.

I need a sanity check here - and I'd appreciate feedback.
How much could I expect to pay to have my windscreen frame and two
stanchions re-chromed ?  I got a quote today and it seems outrageous. Thanks
