I did a little digging last night, turns out that at least some of the units
Sears sells are made by DeVilbiss, same as the Excell I own (and am very
happy with).

Mine is noticeably quieter than the mower; but that probably has something
to do with the mower being almost 30 years old and still having it's
original muffler <G>
