Terry,

There was definitely a time when the boots would rot in just a few months;
but the current replacement boots from TRF appear to be higher quality.
Since I don't believe you will find a Toyota boot that will fit properly, I
would suggest buying proper replacements from TRF.  Although the ones I put
on TS39781LO perhaps 10 years ago don't look "new", they are still doing the
job.
