[TR] Headlamps

What is everyone's feelings regarding headlamps. I have a TR6 with the
sealed beams and don't get much light out of them. Don't drive too much at
night but they are not bright and I live in Dallas and one can use all the
safety attention one can get. I called TRF and they said the majority still
order the original equipment which is the sealed beam. Are there fans of the
halogens at all? Are we only talking originality vs. the brighter light?
