[TR] a new clunking noise

I know it's a stretch but if your Spit has plastic center hub caps, they  may 
be creaking.  I've seen/heard it happen on TR6's.  You would think  that the 
springs attached to the backside of the center hubs would keep the  caps firm 
against the wheel rim but I have heard them creak.
