Actually, you responded to Darrell's reply about his GT6+.  

Which I agree probably has a D-type ... but I'll bet someone somewhere has
stuffed an A-type into a GT6.  

And since you didn't include that piece of information (apparently didn't
recognize yourself which car we were discussing), I still say it's best to
qualify blanket statements.
