[TR] Z 28 TR3 Frame

Hello List,
 
Pulled the engine and on the top of the front cross member is a plate with a
raised "Z" followed by the number "28" stamped in it.  Any ideas as to what
this indicates?
 
If you have a copy of Roger William's "Enthusiasts Restoration Manual" you
can just see the plate between the motor mounts in picture 5-13-3 on page
80, however he does not address it in the text.
