First spray contact cleaner into the switch, preferably onto the contacts if they're accessible, exercise the switch a couple dozen times to wear off the corrosion, let it dry, and then spray in 2-26, which is an electrical contact lubricant/protectant. This should slow down the oxidation process on the contacts. On my Alpine, I built a bracket and made a mechanical switch.
