<div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false" style=""><span style="font-size: small;">I can't remember which pusher fan I installed 20 years ago, but here is the installation configuration I used.</span></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false" style=""><font size="2"><br></font></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false" style=""><font size="2">There are 4 threaded holes on the forward bulkhead, 2 on each side of the radiator. I removed the radiator, laid the fan inside the radiator opening, and installed 1" aluminum straps left to right and top to bottom. I then mounted the fan on the vertical straps, all painted flat black. See pic. Only the lower holes are visable from the front. The upper 2 holes are up underneath the front cowl.</font></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false" style=""><font size="2"><br></font></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false" style=""><font size="2">Instead of having the original single throw switch for the panel lighting, I wired my panel lighting to the center position of the double throw main light switch, and use that dash opening for the fan switch. <span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">I then use an original double throw light switch to manually operate the fan and my fuel pump, down position - off, middle position - fuel pump, top position - fan and fuel pump. The fuel pump operates in both the middle and up positions, but the fan only operates in the up position. That way I can drive the car normally and turn on the fan as needed without turning off the fuel pump. Turning that switch off also acts a secondary theft deterent.</span></span></font></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false" style=""><font size="2"><span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><br></span></span></font></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false" style=""><font size="2"><span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">When I turn on the pusher fan, I can actually watch the gauge move downward 15</span></span></font><span style="font-size: small;">°</span><font size="2" style="font-size: small;">-20</font><span style="font-size: small;">° within 30 seconds.</span><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false" style=""><span><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><font size="2" style="background-color: inherit;"><br></font></span></span></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false" style=""><span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><font size="2" style="background-color: inherit;">Gary</font></span></div><div style="font-size: 16px;"><br></div>

I've read through the article by Tiger Tom and Chuck King and I will make some of the suggested modifications. They listed two different pusher electric fans in the article but both of them are no longer available.<div><br></div><div>So, has anybody recently installed a pusher fan?
