<p class="MsoNormal">Gary, Great suggestion. That small strip is the shelf for the metal side panels that cover the soft top when folded up and not in use. If the car is not a mark 1 and has the padded top cover for the a Mk1A)(?) or ii then it may never have had those?</p>
