<div dir="ltr"><div dir="auto">Guys;<div dir="auto"><br></div><div dir="auto">I have had two Centerfo<span class="gmail_default" style="">rce clutch packs on my non-stock 289 block: one after I bought it and did a mild workover of the engine, and one much later after having the totally worn out engine completely rebuilt to a much higher state of tune. </span></div><div><span class="gmail_default" style="">At the time (15 years ago for stage one build it was just the new clutch, a new alloy rad, carb etc). 10 years later the engine was bored and stroked, new rotating assembly,pistons,intake manifold, 4 barrel 600cfm carb,roller hydraulic cam, roller tipped rockers, etc etc.</span></div><div><span class="gmail_default" style=""> </span></div><div><span class="gmail_default" style="">These excellent clutches at the time were sized according to the engine torque. My first Centerforce clutch was good for 300 ft lbs; the second was good for 400 ft lb. ( my engine was now showing 349ft lbs at the crank.)</span></div><div><div class="gmail_default" style=""><span style="font-size:large"></span>Both clutches were easy on the leg - very easy to shove in the pedal. They're smooth on the release, and could take a high rpm drag race start very smoothly.
