Seems to me Shelby couldn't get his race car to work. It would have
been nice if Doane Spencer was involved.<br>
I heard him talk and tell us he expected they would have made a new
crossmember and put in more<br>
welds as a minimum. His race car was the one to beat.<br>

really. With all the fitment issues and the new
standards it was probably the right choice, or the
only choice. What I tend to ponder is, where things
might have gone with the Tiger if circumstances were
different. Shelby involvement?
Ford involvement? Rootes remaining solvent? Just
