<p>If you are looking for touch-up paint, most body shops have had
for some time scanners they can put on your paint and generate
what they need to match what you've currently got. About 15 years
ago, I had a body shop do this and the match was perfect to my
eye. And I live in a *very* rural area with little resources. So
that's the way I would go...</p>

different hues and even different car companies have different
hues for British Racing Green.<o:p></o:p></p>

good starting point, one which the paint shop can manipulate

<p>A couple years ago at the TE/AE United, I entered my car in
the stock concours category just to get some tips on
originality for my car. There were three of us there with
Code 86 cars, and we were all very different colors. In the
stock category! And while I was pinged a whole point for
missing a wiring clip, none of us were pinged for having the
wrong color. So I'm not sure you'll get a straight answer on
the true 86 hue.<o:p></o:p></p>
