There are diffs. that will accept this like the Auburn clutch type LSD but, last I checked they had some QC problems with fit. Changing to 28-30 spline axles and pinion will give you a better choice for an LSD. Or, just change the R&P back to 2.88 if the LSD is not a real concern. (I have a set) I will say that the Torsen type LSD in my Tiger really hooks up great. Better than I expected actually. However, the cost is something to consider. I probably put close to a grand in the rear end with new gears, pinion, axles, bearings etc, shop time and the LSD diff. Best of luck.<div class="">Jim<br class=""><div><br class=""><blockquote type="cite" class=""><div class="">On Nov 17, 2019, at 5:37 AM, Dave Munroe via Tigers <<a href="mailto:tigers@autox.team.net" class="">tigers@autox.team.net</a>> wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><div class=""><div id="response_container_BBPPID" dir="auto" style="font-family:'helvetica';font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;letter-spacing:normal;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:0px;background-color:rgb( 255 , 255 , 255 );text-decoration:none;outline:none" class=""><div id="BB10_response_div_BBPPID" dir="auto" style="width:1087px" class="">So Clyde;</div><div id="BB10_response_div_BBPPID" dir="auto" style="width:1087px" class=""><br class=""></div><div id="BB10_response_div_BBPPID" dir="auto" style="width:1087px" class="">Are you saying my stock rear end ( '65 Mark 1A - B382000450) which came to me with a 3:07 set of gears could be easily changed back to a set of stock 2:88 gears ( or even lower!) ?</div><div id="BB10_response_div_BBPPID" dir="auto" style="width:1087px" class=""><br class=""></div><div id="BB10_response_div_BBPPID" dir="auto" style="width:1087px" class="">Do you know what the lowest possible gear set might be?</div><div id="BB10_response_div_BBPPID" dir="auto" style="width:1087px" class=""><br class=""></div><div id="BB10_response_div_BBPPID" dir="auto" style="width:1087px" class="">Love to drop my cruising speed rpm to something more comfortable.</div><div id="BB10_response_div_BBPPID" dir="auto" style="width:1087px" class=""><br class=""></div><div id="BB10_response_div_BBPPID" dir="auto" style="width:1087px" class="">Dave</div><div id="response_div_spacer_BBPPID" dir="auto" style="width:1087px" class=""><br class=""></div><div id="blackberry_signature_BBPPID" dir="auto" class=""><div id="_signaturePlaceholder_BBPPID" dir="auto" class="">Sent from my BlackBerry — the most secure mobile device — via the Bell Network</div></div></div><div id="_original_msg_header_BBPPID" dir="auto" style="font-family:'helvetica';font-size:12px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;letter-spacing:normal;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:0px;background-color:rgb( 255 , 255 , 255 );text-decoration:none" class=""><table width="100%" style="background-color:white;border-spacing:0px;display:table;outline:none" class=""><tbody class=""><tr class=""><td colspan="2" style="background-color:rgb( 255 , 255 , 255 )" class=""><div style="border-style:solid none none;border-top-width:1pt;border-top-color:rgb( 181 , 196 , 223 );padding:3pt 0in 0in;font-family:'tahoma' , 'bb alpha sans' , 'slate pro';font-size:10pt" class=""><div id="from" class=""><b class="">From:</b><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><a href="mailto:tigers@autox.team.net" class="">tigers@autox.team.net</a></div><div id="sent" class=""><b class="">Sent:</b><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>November 17, 2019 9:25 AM</div><div id="to" class=""><b class="">To:</b><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><a href="mailto:tigers@autox.team.net" class="">tigers@autox.team.net</a></div><div id="reply_to" class=""><b class="">Reply to:</b><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span><a href="mailto:clydemclaughlin@verizon.net" class="">clydemclaughlin@verizon.net</a></div><div id="subject" class=""><b class="">Subject:</b><span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>[Tigers] axle spline</div></div></td></tr></tbody></table><br class=""></div><div dir="auto" style="font-family:'helvetica';font-size:12px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;letter-spacing:normal;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;white-space:normal;word-spacing:0px;background-color:rgb( 255 , 255 , 255 );text-decoration:none;outline:none" class=""><div style="font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;font-stretch:normal;font-size:10pt;line-height:normal;font-family:'arial'" class="">You don't need to worry about spline count on axle unless you rpl the tiger axles with something else, I changed to Ford axles.
