<div dir="ltr">For whatever reason, the system sucks. I have tried every type of electronic switch out there - from the no names to the most expensive ones. They simply do not last (I've been Sunbeaming for 40 years now). And not just with synthetic. I gave up and built a bracket and mounted a mechanic switch. I think someone else has a kit. I feel strongly that it's not worth it keeping this part stock - unless you check your brake lights against a wall or something constantly.</div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Sun, Apr 28, 2019 at 1:51 PM Will Seay via Tigers <<a href="mailto:tigers@autox.team.net">tigers@autox.team.net</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">Graham,</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-size:small">I'm sure that you're right that the pressure switch is going bad. The switch is separate from the brake line junction and can be replaced separately. I'm pretty sure that Sunbeam Specialties has the switch. Those pressure switches have a particular dislike for synthetic fluid, so if you are using a synthetic you can expect the switch to fail again. Lots of Tiger owners have given up on the pressure switch and have installed a switch that's mechanically actuated by the break pedal. That's your best bet if you want to run a synthetic. There was a discussion thread not long ago in which folks showed how they had installed a mechanical switch. You can probably find it in the archive with a little searching.<br class="gmail-m_1270112779826441360gmail-Apple-interchange-newline">-- <br><div dir="ltr" class="gmail-m_1270112779826441360gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr">Will - 382001570 <br><a href="mailto:Tigers@embarqmail.com" target="_blank">Tigers@embarqmail.com</a></div></div></div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Sun, Apr 28, 2019 at 3:58 PM gharlowe--- via Tigers <<a href="mailto:tigers@autox.team.net" target="_blank">tigers@autox.team.net</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex"><div lang="EN-US"><div class="gmail-m_1270112779826441360gmail-m_-4542425645743358706WordSection1"><p class="MsoNormal"><u></u> <u></u></p><p class="MsoNormal">The last time I had the Tiger out, a fellow driver advised me that my brake lights weren’t working properly.
