More info, The car has original springs, it has dropped down in the rear especially on my side , I think it's a weight issue. I've had 15 inch Panasport's on for some time with no isssues. And I had air shocks for awhile, harsher ride, looked good though! So, Mr King is probably wright new springs and a good new rear shock will keep that tire off my fender..

Beau 9470951

---------- Forwarded message ---------
From: Jay Laifman <jay.laifman@gmail.com>
Date: Wed, Sep 19, 2018, 1:51 AM
Subject: Re: [Tigers] Coil over shocks?
To: Jim Buster <jbsyv@yahoo.com>
Cc: Lance Beauchamp <blance598@gmail.com>, tigers@autox.team.net <tigers@autox.team.net>

Why? Are you putting in larger diameter wheels? Might look quite a bit odd. And similar sized wheels in front would hit when turning.
Adjustable coil over shocks (where you can raise the ride height) will pre-load the leaf springs and, in my opinion, result in a harsh ride and possibly some irrational behavior of the rear end. Fitment may also be an issue. Extended shackles may be your answer. 2 inches is quite a bit and I’m not a fan of longer shackles but it will raise the body. Maybe someone has had more experience with coil overs than I have. I use QA1 coil overs on my street rod with a 4 link set up.
