Roger are you running stock rocker ratio of 1.5:1? I have a set of 1.6:1

rockers and am trying to understand how the bigger ratio and more cubic inches

I'm also doing a 331 stroker motor, Scat crank and rods, and Wisco pistons. I have Promaxx heads with springs for a flat tappet cam, Edelbrock Performer Plus, 224int / 230exh @.050 essentially same numbers as a B303, 5.0 hipo cam but less lift for flat tappet
cam. Quite manageable street cam. Flat torque curve to 5500 rpm.
? I use Shell Rotatella 30w oil which has the additives taken out of catalytic converter engine oil.
