<div>Dr Mayf, I had a similar issue on one of my Tigers, the car had a hub adaptor for a Grant steering wheel. I made an adaptor for the center that allowed column adjustment. I then found a Lucas turn signal switch that had the flash-to-pass option and used that as the horn. It might be a little strange to get used to but remember lots of cars had the horn button on a stalk before the 1975 DOT standardization. So, le tme now ask the collective wisdom and experience of the Tiger list, where do I get a sacrificial expander bolt? Were the Alpines using the same arrangement? If so, does anyone know where I might procure one and or have one to sell? If the price is right, lol.
