<DIV>Warren, ME:</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Hello,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV> On December 16, Tod Brown, after fighting cancer
for many months, passed away. He is survived by his</DIV>
<DIV>wife, Merrilee, their two daughters and their respective families, and many
friends.</DIV>
<DIV> Tod was very active in Sunbeam affairs, hosting an
eastern United in the early eighties in the Hudson Valley area, and
one in Rockland Maine in 2000. He was most lately the editor of the
TE /AE newsletter until illness forced his retirement. A physics teacher
and professor all his career, the Sunbeam Tiger he bought new in 1966, will,
when the time is right, be sold to begin the funding of a scholarship for
deserving local students choosing the study of physics in
university.</DIV>
<DIV> A close personal friend, he will be sorely
missed by many.</DIV>
