<DIV><FONT size=2>You know that he's not coming down now and he may die before
he comes down. But, at least this is giving him the chance to shop around

for a discussion. Sometimes the deal can be made and other times someone
will want it more than you do.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV>Thank you all who contributed to my question about MKII
values. I have used the Hagerty Valuation tool many times, but
I couple that knowledge with personal experiences. </DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>I am aware of a Tiger Mk II "for sale" that I'm trying negotiate the
possible sale of. Admittedly I was hoping to do
so without opening up the floodgates of other competition, hence my
lack of detail.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>He's asking 80 grand for a non driving car, with many critical MKII
pieces that have not yet been confirmed. He may have them but I haven't seen
them. The car does start, but does not drive. It also is packed in a
garage with stuff all around it, obstructing some of its
inspection, but its very clearly a MKII. It is recorded in
TBON. No visible rust but may have some body filler, amount
unknown. Communication is poor with the seller and his expectations are
unreasonable. He quotes a 240K sale on a MKII and is confident
his car is worth 70-80 grand. I didn't think it is. I know of a
couple driver quality MKII's that recently sold for less than 100k.
Frustrating situation. He has no inspiration to build the car, only to get
rich off of it. If the deal was right, I could possibly buy the car but I have
no desire to overpay. I think the car is maybe "worth" 45 or 50 but he would
just laugh. I have offered him 30 without confirmation of the grill, top
of grill trim and wheel arches, and he didn't even respond to my offer.</DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>Thank you so much for understanding and thank you for helping with
discussion on values. Just trying to make sure I am representing my case
realistically to the potential seller. My patience
for negotiation is running out. I've been lightly pursuing the
car since early 2013. </DIV>
<DIV><BR></DIV>
<DIV>Thank you all!</DIV>

<DIV dir=ltr>Since you wrote your car is a basketcase and doesn't drive, it

rock bottom value around $55k -60k.</DIV>

<DIV dir=ltr>Dear friends. I would like the list opinion on Mark 2 Tiger
values these days. We have all seen several come and go at auction in
restored condition. I realize this question is so subjective it's nearly
impossible to answer. </DIV>

true:</DIV>
<DIV dir=ltr>Authentic mk2 tiger. <BR>No visible rust or collision
