<div dir="ltr">Joel,<div><br></div><div>There doesn't seem to be much adjustment available for pedal height except the two holes on the foot pedal, which gains / costs you @ 1 1/2" of height according to Section K of the Tiger Workshop Manual. If the goal is to have all 3 pedals' height the same that's the base line... whichever hole you choose, and adjust the throttle pedal height to match the brake and clutch height. I don't think the original brake and clutch rods were adjustable... at least the diagram doesn't show it... but later / aftermarket cylinder pushrods may have an adjustment there. </div><div><br></div><div>You're right, imo, the travel is far more than needed for full clutch / brake engagement, But with the Tiger tunnel mods it gets a bit tight the closer to the firewall the pedals get. I'm a little guy; the folks with big feet will have issues the lower the pedals. As it is it's easy to hit the brake and throttle at the same time until one gets used to the car. </div><div><br></div><div>Anything can be accomplished with a drill press, but stock height, sadly, appears to be fixed.</div><div><br></div><div>Tom</div><div>'67 Mark 2</div></div><div class="gmail_extra"><br><div class="gmail_quote">On Wed, Nov 4, 2015 at 8:52 AM, Ron Fraser via Tigers <span dir="ltr"><<a href="mailto:tigers@autox.team.net" target="_blank">tigers@autox.team.net</a>></span> wrote:<br><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0 0 0 .8ex;border-left:1px #ccc solid;padding-left:1ex"><u></u>

Drivers Seat Foot well space<br><br></font></div>
<div style="BACKGROUND-COLOR:#fff;FONT-FAMILY:garamond,new york,times,serif;COLOR:#000;FONT-SIZE:16px">
<div dir="ltr">Installed drivers seat today,
and moved seat all the way to rear - comes right up to rear shelf on slider -
good. I am 6'0" tall. Concern is the amount of room between knees, stock
steering wheel (15.3"), right knee to shift lever and the foot pedals.
With the clutch pushed in there is still about 8" left to the firewall with
about 11" from brake pedal and the accelerator pedals to the firewall.</div>
<div dir="ltr"><br></div>
<div dir="ltr">Do we really have this much
wasted foot well room from the end of the pedals to the firewall? The
brake pedal and the accelerator pedal are about even in the foot well with the
clutch about 1" further 'out' than the other 2.<br></div>
<div dir="ltr"><br></div>
<div dir="ltr">Findings: Both the brake
and clutch pedal have the same casting number of 1990300 but with different
bends entirely. This seams unusual. The Clutch bends to the left
with only 1 available hole connecting to the pedal bracket. The brake
bends slightly to the right with 2 holes available connecting to the pedal
bracket. Both brackets look to be the same.<br></div>
<div dir="ltr"><br></div>
<div dir="ltr">Spacers at the master
cylinders: brake master has spacer between master and firewall.
Clutch master does not have spacer due to brake reservoir slightly to one side
closest to clutch reservoir, so no spacer or the clutch master reservoir would
contact brake master reservoir and would not bolt up..</div>
<div dir="ltr"><br></div>
<div dir="ltr">I see all this wasted foot
well space and now wonder if I have the right pedals, brackets etc for this
car.</div>
<div dir="ltr"><br></div>
<div dir="ltr">Any ideas would be greatly
appreciated.</div>
<div dir="ltr"><br></div>
<div dir="ltr">Regards</div>
