My 260 almost fills to the “full line” on the dipstick with a little more than 4 quarts including the filter. actually 10 U.S. pints, to be exact) goes into the sump on the 260. Does
that number take the oil filter size into account? In other words, would
you have to increase or decrease the amount of oil you put into the motor if
you used a larger or smaller oil filter? I’m a bit embarrassed to say
that I’ve never known the answer to this question. Hopefully, someone
