We spent a week there with other members of the Vintage Motor Car Club of America driving on the original sections of Route 66 that still exist and visiting a lot of old gas stations, car collections and museums. This photo shows the Conoco Tower gas station and U-Drop Inn cafe in Shamrock, TX. This building inspired Ramone's House of Body Art in the Pixar movie Cars. All totaled, we put about 1500 miles on the Tiger over 7 days. The longest day was yesterday when we spent about 8 hours in the car. I couldn't hardly walk when we got home. Did anybody else help celebrate Route 66? Does anybody else have any long trips planned in their Tiger? Have Fun, Joe Brown -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
