If it sputters and then dies, it's most likely fuel related. If it dies with no notice, most likely electrical. Once that is determined it makes it easier to find the problem.
Once at a TA event a woman brought in a car that would die and then restart. One of the Tiger owner there discovered the wire from the coil was not plugged tightly into the distributor. Problem solved in 10 seconds with a test drive to verify. Would check all wires that you can reach to be sure they are tight and clean.
