[Tigers] button snap fasteners

Hello,
 The vinyl cover for the convertible top on Mk1A's and MkII has both 'Lift-the-Dot" and  button snap fasteners.My question concerns the button snap fasteners.One of my button snaps has finally made its screw hole too big for the # 6 screw. A new # 6 still is too small to anchor correctly..Does anyone know a source for a button snap with the original size button but with a # 8 screw. I tried West Marine and all they have is various length # 6. Thanks in advance, Jim Armstrong
