Back when the cars were new and the dealer just drilled holes, that caused the lower edge of the trunk to rust inside.. the only rust ever in my CA car. And yes, if you put the plate under the bumper, you need to flip the lights, which looks so bad to me. And you have to drill holes there too, probably causing rust in the body shell itself, even worse. Gary W.
