[Tigers] Surging idle

I missed the original message, but I thought I should offer a comment :
If you have a Pertronix, you must provide 12 volts to the module; don’t connect it to your ballast resistor (or pink resistor wire).
The Pertronix tech advised me years ago that their module does not perform reliably if the voltage is low. He said to bypass the ballast resistor.
Again- don’t know if this is pertinent, but I hope it helps.

How is the ignition system supplied volage at idle? Maybe to low for any kind of electronic ignition system ??
