I believe the old Halon gas extinguishers are no longer available due to EPA restrictions. They have developed a similar product that IS available.

It uses “Halotron” gas whatever that is but operates on the same principle. Different sizes and colors are available from Summit…others also I am sure. Not cheap.
I did go with the ELEMENT extinguisher. Tests appear to show it is effective and uses a gas to smother fire…so no mess. More easily stowed and 1/3 the price of the Halotron extinguisher. Also available from Summit.

I would shop around. summit price is among highest.
