Brian,

That is really a " refer to the judging guidelines" question.

1.  My personal opinion is while the coating is preferable as it protects
from rust and can offer advantages of reduced engine bay temps and keeps
heat in the exhaust ports..  It isnt stock... If you coat to appear
original finish its up to the judges to spot...  If you have these coated
and another car has them painted .. I'd pin you the point...

2. The LAT brochure shows what appears to be a satin black finish on them..
But its a B/W brochure..  And..  Maybe they painted them for the sales
images .... So take that for what its worth.. So if ceramic coating a satin
black Would be the first choice...
