[Tigers] Soft top question

Gary, Great suggestion. That small strip is the shelf for the metal side panels that cover the soft top when folded up and not in use.  If the car is not a mark 1 and has the padded top cover for the a Mk1A)(?) or ii then it may never have had those?

Dumb question but, are you sure they are not attached to the car?

I'm getting ready to install a new top and I'm going through all of the instructions I can find and they all refer to the longer metal strip that holds the back of the vinyl and two side strips that do NOT hold the vinyl.  I grabbed this shot from a video that shows the side piece I'm talking about. 



 

I can't find these side pieces to save my life and I don't remember ever seeing them.  I've gone through all of my boxes and can't find them. 

 

So,  does anybody have a pair they would like to sell?  Or can anybody give me a close up photo of one and the dimensions so I can fabricate something the will work?
