I think it should pivot with the arm but not sure.

Hi,

 

I have a question about the soft top hinge.  In the photo below I added a red arrow pointing to a curved piece of spring metal.  I'm not sure what this is supposed to do.  I thought maybe it was supposed to rest against the pivoting arm that attaches to the soft top frame but the shape of it does not match the arm and won't stay on it.  

 

Where is this spring supposed to be sitting?
