It’s probably too late to slam the lid on Pandora’s Box now. Once the concept is out, it’s out, and I’d be surprised if this was contained to EV use. Today’s Car Culture has devolved to include noise for it’s own sake, all out of proportion to the performance of the vehicle in question. Today’s Corolla-with-muffler-cut-off is tomorrow’s Corolla that sounds like a Top Fuel Dragster. Oh, and e-bikes that sound like Ducatis.
