[Tigers] How much to spend on a conversion

OK, I had to share this absurdity.  How much would you spend to take a 4 cylinder English roadster and stuff a V8 into it?  I would imagine doing it to an Alpine and spending a bunch of money to make it like a Tiger might make some sense.  But what about a 4 seater Austin Healey that never came with a V8 option?  How about $850,000???  Yes, you read that right.  They even have the list of invoices paid.  At some point don't you say "wait, stop, dear god, how much is this going to cost me?"  And then after ALL THAT MONEY wouldn't you think he would have had a reason to do such as driving it more than 300 miles before putting it for sale?
