I got a reproduction and so did a friend.  Found out they don't fit on a Holley 1850 4 bbl without a spacer.  The bottom on the base plate isn't punched deep enough.  I compared it to my original which fits fine.Sent from my Galaxy

I also shot my photos in natural, non-glaring lighting conditions. (I shared three photos in an earlier Email today.) The more I look at my Air Cleaner in outside, cloudy light, and then at your photos, the more I could be easily convinced it is Hammertone.           Regards, Don Antilla                       From: Tigers <tigers-bounces at autox.team.net> on behalf of Allan Ballard via Tigers <tigers at autox.team.net>Reply-To: Allan Ballard <aballard at ix.netcom.com>Date: Monday, January 17, 2022 at 1:49 PMTo: Ron Fraser <rfraser at bluefrog.com>Cc: Tiger List List <tigers at Autox.Team.Net>Subject: Re: [Tigers] Air cleaner color Here a few pictures of the bottom piece of one of my air cleaner housings. This housing came off a Mk1 Tiger and went on a shelf exposed to the elements where It sat for years - until I bought it at a “yard sale” for 60 bucks, along with other Tiger parts. I believe the paint is original - what’s left of it. The paint appears to be alligatoring and falling off. The pictures were taken with a DSLR camera using natural light from a window to the right                                 There is no “hue” from an incandescent or florescent bulb, or any light bulb.. Perhaps someone can tell if the finish was hammertone. The color must be the factory color as toned by the years and weather. -Allan Ballard Mk1a Tiger Series I Alpine(V6, T5) -Atlanta On Jan 17, 2022, at 11:13 AM, Ron Fraser via Tigers <tigers at autox.team.net> wrote: Bob                                            Interesting – can you send a picture?
