[Tigers] Rootes Seatbelts (was Tigers ford sticker)

Ron,I only know a little about seatbelts for Sunbeams.  My Tiger had Beam belts when I purchased it in 1977.  Not sure if they were dealer installed.  They are American made, so may have been installed by Rootes in New York.  Beam seatbelts are a classic flip design as used in airplanes and are still available today in multiple colors.  SeatBeltsPlus carry them.  I got new ones from JC Whitney years ago.  Kangol seatbelts are the magnetic buckle type.  They were listed by Rootes in the Avenger/Cricket parts book.  Britex belts were used in many British cars. They were of the push button type and listed for the 69 Alpine.Irvin belts were made by the Irvin Parachute Company.   Not sure what Rootes vehicle these were listed for.   They are sought after and quite expensive.   Attached are pictures.  Maybe some of our British or Australian friends can shed more light on this.Jim DSent from my Galaxy
