I was just checking – that is the correct switch. I believe the switch was originally a Ford Galaxy part.

I had to look up the correct Ford part number again then it was good to see Dennis Carpenter was making the switch. It mounts to the shifter bracket and may need a little adjustment for position.

I ran the wires under an open spot at the bottom of the transmission tunnel cover and under the carpet.

Wires are run with the wire harness to the back of the car along the sill.

Hopefully I'll be using the switch pictured. It's a copy of C2AZ-15520-E sold by Dennis Carpenter.

Jim

                Looks well done.

What are you using for a backup light switch?

Wanted to install backup lamps on the Tiger, but didn't want to drill holes in the body. Had a pair of NOS S210 Wipac top mount lamps which look identical to the MKII lamps except the mounting. The lamps on the MKII are 9" center to center of the bumper guard bolt. That is a long distance for a bracket. My solution was a 1-1/4 x 1-1/4 x 1/16 aluminum angle mounted between the bumper guards. Just cut to lenght and drill 4 half inch holes. Wiring will run through the license lamp grommet and ground to the license lamp bracket. Of course I'll need to run wires in the car. The angle doesn't interfere with the license lamps, but everything needs to be assembled before installing the bumper.
