The picture was an example of the factory original screw type eye brow.
I thought the picture was needed to understand both configuration.
The screw type eye brow only has 1 chamfered hole which is offset slightly to the grille area. See pictures
2nd picture, the rib lines up with the peak of the eye brow, the screw hole is offset about 7/8”.
I don’t have any of the clip on eye brows to determine if the rivets all need to be drilled out.
I suspect it depend on the conditions of the parts you have on hand.
Original Screw Tapping screw Alpine Parts List – Section W
9723125 #8 x ¾ Raised head superseded by 9763125
9763125 #8 x ¾ Oval head
Hope this helps

Thanks Ron for the photo. This shows the inside portion well. What does the eyebrow look like? Do you have to drill out the ‘three rivets’ on the eye brow or just the center one?
>From the cat forum pictures, it looks like you to drill out all three and then have a mess to fix and repaint the the eye brow. Is this right?
Thanks

That looks like a good article on the subject - thanks for the link.
Joel
Here is a picture of my original screw type clip.
I use Low Strength Threadlock on the screw, just for a safety factor.
