Also the digits should have a “3D” effect if one wants to parallel the appearance of the factory 260 badges.

Here’s a 302 badge that’s been on a shelf since forever, next to a factory 260 badge. 

The font (see the E) and appearance of the displacement are different.

I’ve forgotten the technique used to chrome the 260 badges but perhaps it’s “flash chrome?”
