                The driven gear on the cable is a separate part, you simply remove from speedometer cable and install on new speedometer cable.

 

>From Parts List

MK I       C3OA-17271-A   speedometer cable gear – 15 teeth          no longer available from Ford, I believe – 16 teeth is available

MK II                                      speedometer cable gear – 17 teeth          no Ford part # listed but could be C3DZ-17271-B

 

If you made a transmission change of any kind then you need to know the # of teeth on the transmission drive gear to determine the correct speedometer cable driven gear.

If you are retaining the speedometer cable system.

 

The length of the speedometer cable could be different for LHD & RHD Tigers plus a 5 speed transmission could change the length needed.
