Im curious if the latest headers from any suppliers have way better fit particularly with the cyl #3 and cyl #7 tubes. I have had two different sets of headers and both set have these tubes lower than they need to be and always drag if clearance is less than optimal. ?They are lower than the center of the front suspension cross member. I don't know the supplier of the sets I have had. Would be interested in comments on header brands and fit relative to ground clearance, before I go back to manifolds Thanks, Clyde

I found the CAT club headers from a few years ago (2012?) a better fit and
a smoother underside than my really old LAT style headers were.   I think
pretty much flush with the oil pan.  I can photograph it from the ground
tomorrow if you're interested.

You know that I?m in the same situation and am looking for alternatives. I?ve been fighting the low ground clearance issue with my headers for years. Mine came from SS.

Don't bother trying to look that VIN up on Norm's website.  B3821... is
MKII, that's right out.  B38211..., that's way out.  Probably just a typo.
Pretty Obviously a MK1A so should be B3820...  Hard to figure out just what
the actual number should be.

      my Tiger, I think it's the police and I have a panic attack. I
      have to brake hard, toss my beer out the window, fasten my seat

      gun under the seat. All while trying to drive. It's just too much

My 1A (1570) has a pentistar.  It's my understanding that Chrysler sent
pentastar emblems to the dealers and the dealers were supposed to put them
on cars in their inventory.  Some did and some didn't.

You'll most likely end up making them from an Alpine donor. Use your old
ones for a template. SS has the boot kits I'm pretty sure, if not they come
up on ebay often.
